We are seeing a massive increase in congestion, chassis shortages, driver shortages, and other issues at the ports of NY/NJ/Savannah and Charleston over the last couple weeks. A record level of ships are waiting to Berth. While this is nothing new, we feel it is getting a lot worse. This is a friendly reminder to send over your DOs and quote requests as soon as you can. We do our best to avoid demurrage, per diem, and other overages every day. It is a challenging environment, and we thank you for being patient with us.
